Replacement of the limit indicator in potentially explosive areas:
•
Installation for the respective EX protection zone is admissible for LPG operating medium
(extremely flammable) temperature classes T1 to T4 in accordance with EN 60079-0. This
includes group II, category 1 and 2 G (gas) devices.
•
The temperature of the potentially explosive atmosphere may not exceed or fall below the
range of -30°C to +70°C.
•
The pressure must not exceed 25bar.
•
The leak-tightness of the sensor within the probe tube may not be jeopardised.
Installation in potentially explosive areas!
Can cause explosions. Severe burns in case of direct skin contact.
There may not be any sources of ignition or other heat sources within a 5m area
around the tank equipment!
Only the following categories of (EX protected) devices may be used in potentially
explosive areas:
In zone 1: category 1 or category 2 devices.
Before carrying out installation, use a gas detector to check whether there is an
explosive mixture of more than 40% of the lower explosion limit around the tank
or in the dome.

Observe applicable laws and regulations!
Wear eye protection, safety goggles or face shields!
Wear work gloves!
The limit indicator can be replaced at tank pressure. The shut-off valve which closes when
replacing the limit indicator under tank pressure prevents gas leakage.
