FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
Central and changeover regulator
At the changeover regulator you can use a rotary
knob to determine which gas cylinder should be
used as the reserve cylinder or the operating cylinder.
If, for example, the arrow on the rotary knob is
switched to “Reserve”, the gas from the cylinder with
the central regulator is given priority. The gas
cylinder with the changeover regulator then serves
as the reserve cylinder. If, on the other hand, the arrow
on the rotary knob is switched to “Operation”, the
gas is taken from the cylinder with the changeover
regulator and the gas cylinder with the central
regulator serves as the reserve cylinder.
Always turn the rotary knob as far as it goes towards “Operation” or
“Reserve”!
The operating cylinder determined by the rotary knob is emptied first.
The Caramatic BasicTwo two-cylinder system then automatically switches to the previously
determined reserve cylinder once the operating cylinder is empty.
