1. Turn off and unplug the appliance.
2. Always allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
3. Do not wash any parts of the pressure cooker in the dishwasher.
4. Do not use abrasive brushes or pads, or harsh cleaning solutions.
5. Use a soft cloth, sponge or rubber spatula to remove any stuck-on food or
residue on the removable pot or lid.
6. Hand wash the removable pot, lid and gasket in warm, soapy water and
dry with a soft cloth. Replace the gasket by pushing it down inside the
edge of the lid. Make sure the rim of the gasket is wedged in the groove
around the edge of the lid.
Note:
If the gasket is not positioned properly, the unit will not work.
Check periodically to ensure the gasket is clean, flexible, and not
cracked or torn. If the rubber gasket is damaged, do not use the
appliance.
7. Pull the pressure regulator knob straight up to remove. Rinse with clean
water and replace.
8. Wipe the base with a damp cloth.
9.
Do not immerse any electrical appliance, its cord, or its plug, into water.
10. Ensure all parts are dried thoroughly before reassembling and using
this appliance.
11. Store the pressure cooker with the lid resting upside down on the
removable cooking pot. This will protect the valves, knobs and pressure
regulator on the top of the lid. If the pressure cooker is stored with the lid
sealed, stale odors may form inside and the gasket may be damaged.
