• If you notice that the floating valve has not risen, but the timer is counting

down, you probably have not added sufficient liquid. Follow these steps:

1. Stop the pressure cooker by pressing START/STOP.

2. Turn the pressure regulator to STEAM until the pressure is fully

released.

3. Remove the lid and add approximately 1 cup of water/stock or any

liquid. Stir food to disperse liquid.

4. Replace the lid and lock into position.

5. Reset and restart per your recipe.

• If you can’t open or remove the cover:

1. Double check that all pressure has been released.

2. Double check that the floating locking pin is down.

3. If you still cannot open the lid, lock the lid, set the pressure

regulator to PRESSURE and bring back to pressure for a few

minutes.

4. Quick release the pressure completely, check that the floating

locking pin is down, unlock and remove the lid.
