Retrieving the Omnia Network Configuration
The default IP address for the Omnia is 172.20.100.254. If it has been changed, you can use
the following procedure to retrieve the current IP address:

Create a folder on your Windows desktop with the name “usbconfig”. Create a sub-folder
within it, with the name “config.json”.

Using a text editor, such as Windows Notepad, type the following command exactly as shown

Save the file as config.json to the Windows desktop.

Copy and paste the config.json file into the usbconfig folder.

Copy the usbconfig folder and its content to the root directory of an empty, FAT-formatted
Universal Serial Bus (USB) stick.

Plug the USB stick into the USB J6301 of Omnia.
The board will automatically detect the USB storage, and will create a file on it with the
current networking configuration.

When the operation is completed successfully, the red LED under USB J6301 blinks. If an
error is detected, the red LED turns solid ON.
Note: The results are stored in the following location: usbconfig\network-config-
SERIALNUMBER.txt. The SERIALNUMBER is the serial number of the Omnia.
