3.4) Expansion procedure

Starting with the display OFF and without the control cable connected to
the connector (9).
Press the control button (1) once to wake up the pump (display ON).
Push the control button (1) forwards in order to activate the motor.
The expansion cycle
proceeds autonomously
; when the operating pressure
(P

) is reached, the motor turns off automatically and the tool’s ram will
return to its starting position at the end of the expansion operation.
In case of emergency, one can immediately interrupt the expansion
process at any moment during the cycle by pushing the button (1)
backwards or forwards and the tool’s ram will return to its starting
position.
NOTE: It is advisable
keeping the pressure screen set on the display (Ref. to
§ 4) in order to both check that the peak pressure (Pp) is reached at the
end of the cycle and confirm the correct conclusion of the expansion cycle
“OK”.
The “ERROR” message on the display (along with an audible signal)
indicates an early termination of the automatic cycle and that the
expansion operation has not ended properly.
For correct expansion of the pipe, it is essential to wait for the pump’s motor to switch
off automatically.
At the end of the operation, before disconnecting the hose, check that the ram of the
attached tool is fully retracted.
3.5) Connecting the bending tool

Before using the pump always check the integrity of the flexible hose and the quick cou-
plers.
The bending tool must only be used with the control cable attached to the pump and via
its control button.
Prepare the bending tool
Remove the battery from the pump.
Connect the coupler (6) of the flexible hose to the male coupler of the tool.
Ensure that the quick couplers are free of dirt before connecting them
Insert the battery into the pump.
Unscrew the cap of the connector (9) and connect the bending tool’s control cable (14).
