4.2) Changing the operating mode
Default setting of the pump is to perform the expansion cycle. When the bending tool’s control
cable is connected to the connector (9), the pump automatically switch in
bendingmode and the display shows the following screen:
If necessary it is possible to perform an expansion operation without
disconnecting the cable from the connector (9) and control the pump by the button (1).
To change the operating mode proceed as follow:
Connect the flexible hose to the expansion tool.
Hold the finger on the button (4) until a confirmation “beep” is heard, the choice made is
shown by positioning of the cursor under the pictogram.

Repeat the working cycle without connect
or disconnect the control cable.
In EXPANSION mode:
the automatic cycle has been
interrupted before the motor has
switched off automatically.
Wait for the conclusion of the automatic
cycle and the motor to turn off, without
interrupting the operation.
In BENDING mode:
the maximum pressure developed
by the pump has been reached
without having obtained the bend-
ing angle set on the tool.
Check the correct use and positioning of
the accessories mounted on the bending
tool that are compatible with the diameter
of the pipe to be bent.
Repeat the bending operation.
