the fusion. This data will be part of the fusion protocol stored into
the processor’s memory.
2.10.2 Cooling Time
After the completion of the
fusion process, the protocol
summary and the remaining
cooling time, if contained in
the barcode, are displayed
alternately. These messages are
active until the user presses the STOP/ESC (O) button to proceed
with the next fusion, or shuts the processor off.
NOTE: No cooling time will be displayed if the fusion is
performed in “Manual” mode.
Warning: At the end of the fusion cycle, the user has to wait
until the cooling time is complete before removing the external
clamp!
Danger of Burning! The fusion area is hot! Pay attention
when disconnecting the fusion cables.
When the cooling time is
complete, an acoustic signal
will sound alerting the operator.
If the operator does not push
the STOP/ESC (O) button, or
power the unit off at this point,
the alert will continue to sound and the following message is
displayed.
