Place the belt on the motor pulley and on the wheel
pulley as per the desired speed. See the diagram
below.

Turn the tension knob clockwise until the desired
tension is achieved. Re-install the dust tray, and
then close the wheel cover.
Note: check the ten-
sion by pushing on the belt with your finger. The
belt should not move more than 1/2” A.
SELECTING AND CHANGING THE BLADE SPEED (CONTINUED)
ADJUSTING THE UPPER BLADE GUARD
The upper blade guard should be adjusted based on
the height of the workpiece. To reduce risks of injuries, a
minimum amount of blade should be exposed.

er the guard, and set it 1/8” - 1/4” above the work-
piece.

. To reduce the risk of damage to the machine, as well as potential for personal injury, after initial set-up as well
as before each use, make sure that everything is securely installed and that all fasteners and moving parts on
this machine are locked in place before starting the machine.

. Make sure to have on safety glasses as well as hearing or/and respiratory protection at all times when using the
machine.

. Use only recommended parts and accessories. The use of parts or accessories NOT recommended by
GENERAL® INTERNATIONAL may result in a risk of injury or damage to the machine.

. Be sure that adjusting wrenches, tools, drinks and other clutter are removed from the machine and/or the
table surface before operating.
