AJUSTING THE UPPER AND LOWER THRUST BEARING

For the upper thrust bearing, loosen thumbscrew

Then manually adjust the thrust bearing shaft

or out until the bearing is 1/64” behind the blade.
Retighten the thumbscrew

Open the lower door, and remove the dust tray.

Loosen the belt by turning the knob counterclock-
wise

Thick Material = Slower Speed
Harder or Denser Material = Slower Speed
Blades with Fine Tooth Pitch = Slower Speed
Thin Material = Faster Speed
Soft Material = Faster Speed
Blades with Few Teeth per inch = Faster Speed
SELECTING AND CHANGING THE BLADE SPEED
This bandsaw is equipped with 2 speed settings: High - 3150 Feet Per Minute (fpm) and Low- 1444 fpm, allowing you
to achieve better results by selecting the appropriate speed based on the type of cut.
Some general guidelines to consider for selecting blade speed:
