Special safety notes
DANGER
Fatal electric shock hazard

Do not operate the tool in wet and damp surroundings
`
Before using, always check the tool, mains cable and mains
connector for damage and ensure that the tool is functioning
`
Avoid bodily contact with grounded surfaces
`
Do not touch damaged mains cables or mains connectors. Have
them replaced immediately by an authorised specialist
`
Never alter a mains connector in any way. It must always fit easily
into the socket
`
Do not use adapters
`
Do not use the mains cable for purposes for which it was not
intended, to carry tools or hang them up, or to pull out the connector
`
Protect the mains cable from heat, oil, acids, sharp edges and
moving tool parts
`
When working outside, only use extension cables that are approved
for outdoor use
`
Unplug the mains connector before starting any maintenance work
on the tool
WARNING
Risk of injury from incorrect handling
`
Only plug in the mains connector when the tool is switched off
`
Unplug the mains connector after use
`
Always route the mains cable from the back of the tool and do not
pull it over sharp edges
Risk of injury by switching on inadvertently
`
Do not carry the tool with your finger on the switch
`
Do not connect the tool to the power supply when switched on
`
Unplug the mains connector before changing accessories and
putting the tool away
`
Unplug the mains connector before starting any maintenance work
on the tool
Danger of crushing by moving parts
`
Do not hold the tool in the area of the pressing jaws
`
Do not hold any parts of your body or other objects in between the
pressing jaws
`
Do not hold the jaw lever with your hands during the pressing
operation
CAUTION
Damage to the device from incorrect connection
`
Only connect the tool to mains voltage as indicated on the
specification plate
