WARNING
PRIOR TO EACH INSTALLATION, ENSURE THAT THE ECG POWER CABLE
IS CONNECTED TO A LINE THAT IS PROTECTED AGAINST SHORT
CIRCUIT HAZARDS, ACCORDING TO LOCAL REGULATIONS AND THAT
THE ECG MONITOR IS POWERED ACCORDING TO IEC60601-1
REQUIREMENTS (LEAKAGE CURRENT AND GROUNDING).
NOTICE
When a Fluoro UPS is or will be installed, a Neutral line is mandatory. If IT
scheme as earthing system is used, an isolation transformer is required with
Delta-Wye or Delta-Star connection.
Optional Isolation transformer specifications:
It shall be :
•
Secondary star 3Ph+N
•
150 kVA minimum for input voltage of 380V and 400V. 100 kVA minimum for input voltage
of 415V and 480V
• Power distribution shall be of TNS type with Neutral grounded
•
The transformer impedance shall be 4.5% or less (this parameter is also called %Z or short
circuit voltage)
