GE Inspection Technologies XLG3 VideoProbe System

Correcting Wide-Angle Distortion

Distortion correction is part of the image processing package. (See

“About the Image

Processing Package”

on page 4.)

When you use an optical tip with a 120° field of view, the image edges are distorted.
You can improve such images by turning on distortion correction.
