The surface units
are automatically disabled during the self-
clean cycle. Make sure that all surface unit

Never cook directly on the glass.
Always use cookware.
Always place the pan in the center of
the surface unit you are cooking on.
Do not slide cookware across the
control or cooktop surface because
it can scratch the glass. The glass is
scratch resistant, not scratchproof.
The pan boils dry.
The pan bottom is not flat.
The pan is off center.
There is no pan on the unit.

glass cooktops, it is normal for the
cooking zones to change color when
hot or cooling down. This is temporary
and will disappear as the glass cools
