Working with Pediatric HAL | 39

Intraosseous Access Site

Pediatric HAL includes replaceable tibia bones for intraosseous access on the right leg. The
hollow bones allow for aspiration and infusion of fluid using real medical devices.

Model

Maximum Infusion Volume (mL)

S3004 HAL 1 Year Old

S3005 HAL 5 Year Old

Remove the tibia insert.

Remove the bone's reservoir cap with
the aid of a flat head screw driver (not
provided) to lift the caps off.

To fill the tibia bone with fluid, remove
the skin cover from the right leg.
