Working with Pediatric HAL | 35

3.

Fill the syringe with the desired fluid
(water or simulated blood).

4.

Connect the fill syringe to the other port.

5.

Push fluid into the system until the fluid exits
through the drainage tube into the receptacle
and all the air bubbles are purged.

6.

Once there are no air bubbles
clamp the drainage tube.
