To install the MA-305 module adapter, perform these steps:

1.

At the rear of the chassis, insert the adapter into the same slot position in which the VF-25 module
has been installed.

2.

Once it is seated securely, secure the unit with screws provided.

3.

Plug the connector into the adapter.

A.1.2

MA-305C Four-Wire, 50-pin Connector

The MA-305C module adapter accepts a 50-pin connector, Amphenol 57-30500 or equivalent (Figure
A-2). Table A-3 shows the pin assignments on this connector. Jumpers JMP1 through JMP9 are used to
select the signaling type (JMP5 is not used on the MA-305C). Figure A-2 shows how to hold the
adapter and set the jumpers.
