S codes appear in response to a
STATUS?
query. Like the “P” codes, they are eight-digit binary
numbers. There is one S code for the VF-25 module, S1.

The binary representation is more useful here than the digital, as each digit of the binary number
represents the on/off status of one of the E- and M Leads, as Table 2-9 defines.
