Entering Data
The crimp history feature allows the user to save
crimp data for later analysis. Data can be exported
to a CSV file which can be opened in Microsoft
Excel.
Save Crimp Data
When the crimp is complete, Press the
Measured
Diameter
text box and enter the average
measurement.
This can be done via the keypad - press
Done
Once complete. Alternatively the Bluetooth calipers
can be used (see page 38-39 for further instruction
on blue tooth calipers).
Note: Once data is entered via the keypad or
Bluetooth calipers it is not necessary to press
Save
. The next time the crimper is activated, the
data will save automatically. This was designed
to allow the user to enter data with a Bluetooth
caliper without having to interact with the
Command Screen.
Crimp in Tolerance
If the measurement is within tolerance, the
Within
tolerance
tick,
is shown on the screen. The user
can either press
Save
or continue with the next
crimp to save this data point.
