GC32FLEX TSI

GC32FLEX/TSI SAFETY AND OPERATION MANUAL

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR CRIMPER

Tablet

Ensure the tablet is pushed firmly into the integrated tablet dock.
The tablet uses a magnetic connection to ensure easy access and removal of the

tablet from the dock.
Do not remove the magnetic plug from the tablet as this will prevent charging.

Tablet

Ensure the charge cable is connected to the Control Panel.

Note: The Tablet will only charge when power to the crimper is activated.
The Control Box has a built-in charging regulator to ensure that over charging

does not occur. The Tablet will need to be re-charged once the machine is set up.
Dual charge ports allow other USB devices to be charged from the port.

Turn Power Switch on

Ensure the Crimper is connected to the correct power supply. The Power Switch

for the unit can be found on the right-hand side of the front panel.

When the Power Switch is turned on the tablet will start to charge.

The Charging port has smart functionality which can be activated from within

the Crimper app options page. If smart charging is active the port (both outputs)

will turn off if the tablet is charged above 80%, If the controller is turned on and the

tablet is below 80% the port will activate until a charge of 80% is reached then turn

off. A connection noise will be heard when charging commences.

Turn Control Panel on

The switch for the control panel is integrated on the bottom right-hand side

of the dock.
Hold the button firmly for several seconds until the tablet is activated.
On activation the Gates Home Crimp screen will display.

INITIAL SET UP

To Prevent Serious Injury:
• Keep away from all moving parts! If bodily contact should occur with a moving

part, immediately release the CRIMP button foot pedal.

• Do not operate the crimper when hand, fingers or any body part is in the crimper mouth.
• Do not allow any other personnel near the crimper when crimping operations

are carried out.
