GC32FLEX/TSI SAFETY AND OPERATION MANUAL

OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES

CALIBRATION

STEP 3: Calibration Accuracy

1) Press

Calibration Complete

. This will calibrate

the algorithm accordingly and make an Assembly

Offset Register for this Assembly.
2) Press

Continue Calibration

to do a second

calibration crimp. This will automatically adjust the

offset for the particular hose assembly selected for

the next calibration crimp.

Calibration Accuracy improvement

When the Second Calibration is completed follow

the same procedure as before and enter the

average COD. If the crimp is accurate the calibration

process can be completed (Refer to Calibration

Complete Step below) or you can do another Crimp

using

Continue Calibration.

Calibration Complete

When the Assembly Calibration routine is completed

and the operator is satisfied with the accuracy

of the COD achieved, the TARGET COD should

be entered into the specified field on the tablet,

before pressing,

Calibration Complete

. This will

ensure the machine will not make any further set

point adjustments for that particular assembly. If

the average COD is not satisfactory and a re-set

is required, this can be carried out via the Options

Menu > Assembly Offset.
