6.-CARBURETOR
Idling adjustment
It is carried out by adjus
ti
ng the air screw (1) and the idling screw (2).
1. Turn the air screw clockwise un
ti
l you reach the top of its travel and open
1 turn.
2.
Warm up the engine. Turn the free closing screw to adjust the idling speed.
If you don’t have references turn screw un
ti
l the engine stops.
3. Tighten slightly the idle screw.
4. Accelerate and slow down a few
ti
mes to ensure that the idling does not
change. Readjust if necessary.
DANGER
Driving with damaged thro
tt
le cable can be dangerous.
Check that the cable from the starter remains in the lever, a minimum clearance
of 3 mm.
With the engine idling, turn the handlebar to both sides. If the handlebar mo-
vement changes the idle and accelera
ti
on, the thro
tt
le cable is not properly
adjusted or is in poor condi
ti
on. Be sure to correct this before riding.

7.-TRANSMISSION OIL

on of transmission and clutch, maintain the op
ti
mum trans-
mission oil and change it periodically. A bike with insu
ffi
cient transmission oil,
damaged or polluted oil, can accelerate wear and damages in transmission.
Checking the oil level
1. If the bike has been used wait a few minutes.
2. Check the oil level through the level indicator in the bo
tt
om right of the
engine (1).
3. The oil level must be between the maximum and minimum.
4. If the level is too high, remove the excess through the draining plug (2).
5. If the level is too low, add the necessary oil amount through the plug (3).
Use the same type and brand of oil that the engine had already.
Transmission oil
Recommended oiol: GRO Gear Trans 10W30
Capacity: 900 cc
NOTE:
To get the right engine oil temperature and accurately oil level measure,
the engine should have been cooled down completely, and must then be heated
again for a few minutes to the normal opera
ti
ng temperature.
