Your GAS GAS has an igni ti on map switch with two posi ti ons.
In posi ti on 1 the behavior and engine power delivery is more aggressive, suita-
ble for terrains with good grip and / or experienced riders.
In posi ti on 2 the performance and power delivery are more progressive, suita-
ble for slippery surfaces and / or inexperienced riders.

Secondary transmission ratio
The secondary transmission ra ti o can be modi fi ed by changing the front and /
or rear sprockets.
Available GAS GAS sprockets are as follows.
Rear: 39, 40, 42, 44, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52 teeth.
Front: 12, 13 teeth.
If you shorten the ra ti o, your GAS GAS will lose top speed but will gain in acce-
lera ti on and low speeds, will be more manageable in di ffi cult terrain.
NOTE: A tt en ti on to the engine rpm.
If the ra ti o is extended, your GAS GAS will gain top speed but lose accelera ti on
and maneuverability at low speeds.
