1.1.4 When using a cutting blade 

 

WARNING!

 

Do not use saw blades, as well as combined cutting blades, consisting of 

several components on the product. Use only the cutting blades designed for this 
product.  

 

• before using the product with a cutting blade read the requirements of this section carefully; 
• when using the product, always use the shoulder harness; 
• never lift a rotating cutting blade higher than 76 cm from the surface of the earth; 
• while working take special care to avoid contact of the cutting blade with solid foreign objects 
(stones, ground, roots, etc.); 
• when using a cutting blade thickness of the cut plants should not exceed 13 mm, otherwise you can 
feel a sharp impact and twisting of the bar shaft; 
• do not attempt to stop the rotating blade which can lead to twisting of the flexible shaft; 
• there is a risk of injury by the blade sharp surface when it rotates. Be attentive to the utmost until the 
full blade stop; 
• when hitting a foreign object, stop the engine immediately and check the product for damage. The 
next engine start should be performed only after removal of all the damages. Never use a product with 
a bent, cracked or dull blades; 
• do not sharpen the cutting blade. Sharpening the blade can cause its bending and improper 
alignment, which increases the risk of injury at work. Replace the dull cutting blade; 
• do not use the product with the installed cutting blade for trimming lawn edges; 
• in the event of excessive vibration, immediately stop the engine. The increased level of vibration 
indicated a malfunction of the product. Before proceeding, check the availability and reliability of the 
bolts and nuts. If necessary, repair or replace the defective parts of the product. 
1.1.5 After operation  
To clean the trimmer blade from stains, use any household cleaners. To prevent rust, grease the blade 
with machine oil. Store the blade in a place inaccessible to outsiders. 
 

1.2  Additional information: 

• do not store the product with the fuel in the fuel tank indoors, close to the sources of fire; 
• prior to storage and transportation the engine of the product must cool down completely. When 
transporting fix the product securely; 
• keep the product in a dry covered place, inaccessible to unauthorized persons and children; 
• do not immerse the product in water or other liquid. The handles must be kept clean and dry. Clean 
the device after each use; 
• save this manual for the entire life of the product. When transferring the product to another owner 
pass the Instruction manual along with the product. 
 

1.3 Warning symbols 

On the product case there are stickers with different symbols (pictograms) of the following meaning: 

 

 Be careful! 
 Indicates hazard and attention. Can be used in conjunction with 
other symbols. 
 
 
Read the Instruction manual! This way you minimize the chance of 
injury when operating the product. 
 
 
Use eye and ear protection! 
The objects thrown off and the noise of the operating engine can 
cause eye injury and hearing impairment. 
 
 Unauthorized persons, especially children and pets must be at 
least 15 meters away from the operating product.
