• gasoline vapors are highly toxic. Prepare the fuel mixture and pour it into the fuel
tank in a clean, well-ventilated place, away from sparks and fire. do not smoke while
handling gasoline.
before starting the engine, remove the remnants of the spilled fuel mixture with a
cloth.
• do not start the engine before complete evaporation of residual fuel mixture from the
surface.
before starting the engine, move away to a distance of at least 9 meters from the
refueling place.
1.1.3 Operation:
WARNING! The gear of the product is heated during operation. Therefore after stop of
the engine the gear should be allowed to cool down for some time.
WARNING! Do not use the product without attaching a brush cutter guard, with absent
or improperly installed or string length limiting blade of the guard (when using a
trimmer spool).
WARNING! Do not use any metallic objects (wire, cable with steel cables, etc.) as
string.
• do not start the engine in an enclosed space. Exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide, which is
dangerous for health. Work only outdoors;
• wear safety glasses and ear plugs for hearing organ protection when operating. In dusty conditions,
wear a face mask (respirator);
• never work barefoot and in open shoes. Wear sturdy shoes with rubber soles. It is recommended to
wear gloves and long pants;
• do not use the product without attaching a guard, with improperly installed string spool or blade, and
if the string length exceeds the effective length limited by the size of the guard;
• adjust the position of the handle to ensure maximum comfort while operating;
• make sure that when you start the engine the string spool or blade does not touch the processing
surface;
• use the product only in daylight or good artificial light;
• when starting the engine keep the steady position;
• use only serviceable tool. Use the product only for its main purpose;
• if this product is equipped with a shoulder harness, it should be used for working with the product;
• keep hands, face and feet well away from the moving parts of the product. Never touch the string
spool or blade when operating the product trying to stop them;
• to avoid burns, do not touch the engine, muffler or gearbox in the process. These parts become very
hot in the process and remain hot for a while after stopping the engine;
• do not set the engine revolutions higher than the maximum allowable. do not allow the engine
rotation at high revolutions without load;
• always stop the engine during the breaks in work or when moving from one cut area to another;
• when hitting a foreign object, stop the engine immediately and check the product for damage. Repair
any damage before trying to use the product. Do not use the product with damaged or missing parts
and components;
• always stop the engine before the product servicing, repair, replacement of a string spool or a blade;
• alternate work with rest. Keep the steady position while working;
• use only genuine spare parts recommended by the manufacturer. The use of non-original spare parts
and accessories can result in serious injury to the user or damage to the product. Original spare parts
are available at the service center;
• clean the product immediately after use. The remains of the cut grass or other objects could fall
between the string spool or blade and guard;
• to reduce the risk of fire, replace the defective muffler. Clean the engine and muffler off grass, grease
and carbon deposits.
