WARNING
All announcements displayed on the PFD-screen must be accomplished
promptly; otherwise the aircraft may attain flight situations, where the
pilot must immediately take over manually.
CAUTION
Cross-check attitude, altitude and speed regularly using primary flight
instruments!
Power off in flight:
At altitudes below 2000 feet AGL and especially for landing the autopilot
must be deactivated.
In order to save battery power, the pilot may elect to shut down the display
units while soaring.
To deactivate the AP execute the following procedure:
•
Quick disengage:
Push button on pilot control stick. Verify
indication of active autopilot disappears from
autopilot status box.
or:
•
Normal disengage: Touch autopilot status box, then touch AP.
Verify indication of active autopilot
disappears from autopilot status box.
WARNING
The autopilot must be switched off at altitudes below 600 m /
2.000 ft AGL, for landing and for gliding!
Power on in flight:
To power on the autopilot proceed as follows:

Choose any desired AP mode: Refer to: 4.1.5. Autopilot modes.
