System Software Verification.
NOTE:
For software versions prior to 3.2; the indicated CONFIG ID accounts for Base
Software, Diagnostics Software, and Options installation. Crew Profile, Databases, and
Configuration Module programming have no affect on the returned CONFIG ID. For
software versions 3.2; this is reported as a “FLEET ID” and “AIRCRAFT ID” numbers.
Software verification will be performed for the FLEET ID value only; the AIRCRAFT ID is
not monitored. The FLEET ID verifies Base software, and Options installed. Whereas the
AIRCRAFT ID monitors aircraft specific configuration settings. The radar configuration
modifies the AIRCRAFT ID value.
Diagnostics, TOLD Databases, Databases, Crew
Profile, Configuration Module programming, and setting the Expected Configuration, have
no affect on the returned FLEET or AIRCRAFT value.

To get the latest Garmin G3000 CRC configuration ID (Fleet ID) for your airplane's specific

Do the Airplane Setup steps.

(Airplanes with less than software version 3.2) Reset the radar trim to 0.0.

On GTC 1 push the HOME button.
(b)
On GTC 1 push the AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS button then the MAINTENANCE icon.
(c)
Enter CACCDMS as the password.
(d)
Push the buttons, in the sequence that follows on the GTC 1:

AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS
•
RADAR TRIM
(e)
Record the radar pitch trim value.
NOTE:
The radar trim values can be + (positive) or - (negative). Make sure that you
record the + or - for these values.
(f)
Record the radar roll trim value.
(g)
Push the RESTORE DEFAULTS button if the radar trims are not 0.0.
(h)
Make sure that the radar pitch and roll trims are 0.0.

Make sure that the CONFIG ID (FLEET ID for software 3.2) shown on the AVIONICS STATUS
screen matches the appropriate CONFIG ID / FLEET ID for the aircraft software and installed
options. (Refer to Figure 509)
NOTE:
The CONFIG ID / FLEET ID number indicated on the avionics must match the
expected number for the aircraft configuration.
