On the GTC 1 rotate the inner and outer knobs to enter the VFR CODE.
NOTE:
Countries other than the United States may have to enter a different VFR code. The
VFR code is the transponder code transmitted by airplanes that are operating under
visual flight rules.

Push the SET GTX1 softkey.
(9)
Push the OK softkey
(10) Push ENTER on the GTC 1 to acknowledge completion.
(11) Push the SET GTX2 softkey.
(12) Push the OK softkey.
(13) Push ENTER on the GTC 1 to acknowledge completion.
(14) Push the SET GTS.
(15) Push the OK softkey.
(16) The Transponders and TCAS programming is complete.

Aircraft and Engine Serial Numbers
NOTE:
The airplane and engine serial numbers are needed to complete this step. If the correct
airplane and engine serial numbers are present it is not necessary to enter the numbers
again.
(1)
Make sure that the G3000 Avionics System is in standard configuration mode. If not, put the
G3000 Avionics System into standard configuration mode. Refer to Standard Configuration
Mode.
(2)
On the GTC 1, select PFD1 in the GDU CONTROLS button section of the page.
(3)
On the GTC 1 use the inner and outer knobs to navigate to the GDU tab on the AIRCRAFT
CONFIGURATION page.
(4)
Push the right inner knob of the GTC 1 to activate the AIRFRAME CONFIGURATION menu.
(5)
Turn the outer knob on the GTC 1 to position the cursor in the AIRFRAME WINDOW.
(6)
Push ENTER.
(7)
Enter the AIRCRAFT SERIAL NUMBER with GTC 1.
•
The inner knob changes the character in the selected field.
•
The outer knob changes the selected field.
NOTE:
The serial number must be entered as 5250xxx. The xxx signifies the serial number.
(8)
Turn the outer knob on the GTC 1 to select the ENGINE SERIAL NUMBERS field.
(9)
Enter the engine serial numbers.
•
The inner knob changes the character in the selected field.
•
The outer knob changes the selected field.
(10) The entry of the Aircraft and Engine Serial Numbers is complete.

Diagnostic Configuration
NOTE:
If the correct diagnostics configuration information is present, it is not necessary to enter
the data again.
(1)
Make sure that the G3000 Avionics System is in normal mode.
(2)
Push the HOME button on the GTC 1.
(3)
Push the AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS button on the GTC 1.
(4)
Push the MAINTENANCE button on the GTC 1.
(5)
Push the START MAINTENANCE button on the GTC 1.
(6)
Enter CACCDMS as the password.
(7)
Push the CMC LOGS button on the GTC 1.
(8)
Do these steps to populate each folder on the Maintenance Logging Status GTC page.
