1 Basic setup

With Garmin eDGe

it’s no longer just about the ride, it’s about the progress that you’re making. you

can’t beat that feeling of knowing that you’re improving and making it up a climb quicker than before.
the eDGe

will become a part of your bike that you won’t be able to live without.

Getting started

When using your device the first time, you should complete these tasks to set up the device and learn
about the basic features. each of the steps below will be explain in the booklet.

charge the device

install your device using the standard mount or the out-front mount

turn on the device

locate satellites

Go for a ride

upload your ride to Garmin connect

cHarGe tHe deVice

Pull up the weather cap

from the mini usB port

Plug the small end of the usB cable into the mini-usB port.

Plug the other usB end into the ac adapter (plugged into

a standard wall outlet) or a computer usB port.

charge the device completely.
