roots or trunks, if the soil is too hard or if the ground
is frozen. Always firmly hold the machine with both
hands.
This machine clutch is deactivated (disengaged)
by default, to activate the clutch and for the engine
power to transmit to milling cutters, the clutch lever
must be tightened.
Warning! The clutch lever has a safety lock (W1)
to prevent accidentally engaging the machine.
To activate the clutch and the gearbox you must first
remove the safety lock by moving the finger lock down
(W1) and, without releasing the lock, tighten the clutch
lever. (W2).
SHIFTING GEARS
This machine has a gearbox with two speeds: forward
and backward speed. Pressing the clutch lever the
machine will move forward. Pulling the reverse
lever, the machine will move backwards. Never press
and pull both levers at the same time.
Be extremely careful when using the reverse as
the blades carry on moving. Maintain feet well away
from cutting elements at all times.

7.2. WORKING WITH THE ROTAVATOR
Adjust the working depth using the height adjustment.
Start the machine following the instructions in the
manual.
The wheels in motion will pull the machine forward
maintain an adequate speed.
If the machine sinks and doesn’t go, move the
handlebar left and right until it is released. If with this
movement you do not liberate the machine, let go of
the clutch, wait for the machine to stop moving and
pull from the reverse lever. The machine will start
moving backwards slowly and liberating itself. Once
liberated, carry on working.
When working on slopes it is always slightly more
above the slope so that the machine is always below
you.
7.2.1. USING SUGGESTIONS
A depth of tillage between 15-20 cm is generally
adequate, and rarely there is advantage in deeper. The
shallower tilling is frequently recommended for areas
of little rainfall to conserve moisture.
Secondary tillage is less shallow than the principal,
making 2 cross-styled passes on the terrain is
enough.
8. MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
Perform regular inspections of the machine in order
to ensure efficient operation of the machine. For
complete service maintenance, we recommend to
take the machine to your service technician.
Before performing any maintenance or repair
on the machine make sure that the engine has
stopped and remove the spark plug pipe.
Only perform machine maintenance with the machine
on a flat, cleared surface.
