Adjusting the transparency of the on-screen display
By default, the on-screen display (OSD) is displayed with a medium transparency
over the screen content. The part of the screen content overlaid by the OSD is visible
"through" the OSD.
You can adjust or disable the transparency level.
How to adjust the transparency of the on-screen display:
1. Press
Ctrl+Num
(default) to open the on-screen display.
2. Press
F10
to open the personal profile of the user logged in.
3. Under
OSD transparency
, press
F8
to select one of the following options:

Configuring the information menu
In the default configuration, a temporary (5 seconds) information menu is displayed if
a user accesses a computer. The menu on the console monitor contains the channel
name and the name of the KVM switch, and, in some cases, further information.
The information display can also be shown permanently or it can be disabled.
How to change the setting of the information menu:
1. Press
Ctrl+Num
(default) to open the on-screen display.
2. Press
F10
to open the personal profile of the user logged in.
NOTE:
To change the personal profile of
another
user, press
F11
and
select
Users > [Username] > Personal Profile
.
High:
Screen content is highly visible
Middle:
Screen content semi-visible (
default
)
Low:
Screen content is slightly visible
Off:
Screen content is covered
ADVICE:
If the temporary information menu is enabled, you can use
Ctrl+Caps Lock
to show the menu again.
NOTE:
To change the personal profile of
another
user, press
F11
and
select
Users > [Username] > Personal Profile
.
