5. In the Select key modifier field, select at least one one of the listed modifier keys by
marking the corresponding check box using the
F8
key:
6. In the Valid keys field select one of the options listed by pressing F8 :
7. Use the arrow keys to select Members and press Enter .
8. Mark a channel and press F5 . Enter the desired select keys.
Repeat this step if necessary to change the select keys of other channels and save
the keys by pressing F2 .
9. Press F2 to save your settings.
Enabling/disabling switching
Switching to a specific channel can be take place either via the buttons on the device,
configured select keys , the IP-Control-API , SNMP or the web application Config Panel .
If required, you can restrict the options for switching between channels.
How to enable/disable the options for switching between channels:
1. Press Ctrl+Num (default) to open the on-screen display.
2. Press F11 to open the configuration settings.
3. Use the arrow keys to select General and press Enter .
4. Use the arrow keys to select Disable switching and press Enter .

Only numerical keys are valid as select keys
Alphabetic: Only alphabetic keys are valid as select keys
AlphNum:
Numerical and alphabetic keys are valid as select keys
IMPORTANT: Both the selected valid keys and the select key modifier are no
longer provided as key combinations to the operating system and the applica-
tions on the connected computer.
