Permanent switching of devices connected to
USB 3.0 interfaces
In the default setting of the KVM switch, the KVM data and the data of the devices
connected to the »USB 3.0 Devices« interface is also transferred to the computer of
the active channel.
You can use the USB hold function to permanently switch the devices connected to
the »USB 3.0 Devices« interface to a particular channel. The permanent switching of
these devices still remains even when switching the KVM channel at a later point.
Executing permanent switching of devices connected to USB 3.0
interfaces
How to switch the devices connected to the USB 3.0 interfaces permanently to
the currently active channel:
1. Press Ctrl+Num (default) to open the on-screen display.
2. Press F9 to call up the Operation menu.
3. Press the speed button U or use the arrow keys to go to Hold USB 3.0 connection and
press Enter .
The status of the function changes from Unpinned to Pinned .
Cancelling permanent switching of devices connected to USB 3.0
interfaces
How to cancel permanent switching of devices connected to USB 3.0 interfaces:
1. Press Ctrl+Num (default) to open the on-screen display.
2. Press F9 to call up the Operation menu.
3. Press the speed button U or use the arrow keys to go to Hold USB 3.0 connection and
press Enter .
The status of the function changes from Unpinned to Pinned .
NOTE: The Active LED shows the switching status (see page 9).
ADVICE:
After calling up the on-screen display, you can activate the Stepscan
function in the Select menu with the key combination Ctrl+U
NOTE: After permanent switching has been cancelled, the devices connected to the
»USB 3.0 Devices« interface are switched to the active channel.
