The UPS’s wheels

If the UPS is being installed in a 19” cabinet, the UPS’s wheels do not necessarily have to be removed.
This depends on the height of the 19” cabinet. If necessary, the UPS’s “roof” can also be removed.

If the user intends to seat the UPS on top of the battery cabinet, the UPS’s wheels must be removed.
Removal of the UPS wheels is described below.

Be aware that the battery box will not fit into a 19” cabinet.

Removing the UPS’s wheels

To remove the UPS’s wheels:

1.

Remove the UPS’s modules.

2.

Remove the bottom front panel. It is held in place by four screws. See Figure 6.
