restored.

AUTO CLEANING FUNCTION

This self-cleaning process should be performed after each use of the

hair dryer.

1) First, remove any accessories connected to your hair dryer (such as

nozzles or diffuser). Turn on your hair dryer by moving the on/off switch

from 0 to I and turn it off again.

If the hair dryer has not been used for a long time, turn it on by moving

the on-off switch from 0 to I (Fig.9) and leave it on for a few seconds.

WARNING: DO NOT SWITCH THE HAIR DRYER ON WITHOUT THE FILTERS IN PLACE.

2) Then turn the hair dryer off, immediately press the speed selection or automatic cleaning button at

the bottom and press it for 5 seconds. (Fig.10)

The automatic cleaning cycle must be in the following sequence:

• Initially, the airflow will blow at full speed for 3 seconds to prevent any hair or dust residue from

remaining, and then it will stop.

• Immediately afterwards, the hair dryer will automatically start blowing air in the opposite direction,

towards the back of the hair dryer for 10 seconds to remove all dirt trapped in the filters. After the 10

seconds have elapsed, the motor will stop.

• At the end of the sequence, if you wish to perform a new automatic cleaning cycle, you will need to

wait 30 seconds.

For proper maintenance and cleaning of the hair dryer, it is recommended to perform the self-cleaning cycle

after each use, and a deep cleaning of the filters at the end of each day to ensure optimal durability and

performance of the hair dryer.

WARNING, the accumulation of dirt resulting from the improper cleaning of the filter may result in engine

damage and affect the hair dryer’s performance.

Fig. 6

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The iQ hair dryer features a micro-perforated metal filter and fabric filter

specially designed to prevent dirt from the environment from getting

through to the motor and hair. For protection purposes, the hair dryer

may shut down if there is an excessive buildup of dirt in the filters. When

this happens, the white LED light will stop flashing, remaining on and

indicating that the filters need to be cleaned. (Fig.8)

Fig. 8

Fig. 9

Fig. 10

5s.

NOTE:

The warning LED will not turn off unless the entire self-cleaning process is performed.

If the LED flashes and the hair dryer turns off, the next power-up will take 5 to 10 seconds.

To operate normally, the hair dryer will need to perform a complete auto-cleaning process without

interruption.

If the process is cancelled, the hair dryer will not consider it as valid and therefore the activation steps must

be repeated (Fig.9 and Fig.10). Wait for completion and switch the hair dryer on again.

Once the entire process has been completed, the LED will stop flashing and the timer will reset.

If you run a complete auto-cleaning cycle before the warning appears, the timer will reset. The auto-cleaning

cycle can be activated as many times as desired.

During this process, make sure you keep both the air outlet and the

air out- and inlet free from obstructions and away from any surface or

exposed to any hair chemical airborne products, such a hairsprays.

At the end of the AUTOCLEANING session, the procedure is complete

and the hair dryer can be used normally.

To cancel the automatic cleaning cycle, press the activation button and

this will stop the procedure automatically. When an automatic cleaning

cycle is cancelled, it is not completed and therefore the hair dryer will

not consider it as valid.

The hair dryer is equipped with a system that calculates the motor

operating time after each auto-cleaning cycle.

This system will display a warning with a LED light when the time limit for a new cycle has been exceeded,

thus preventing damage to the motor that could affect the performance of the hair dryer. (Fig.11).

This warning will be displayed 12 hours after the last auto-cleaning cycle.

Fig. 11

PROPER CLEANING PROCESS OF THE FILTERS

The hair dryer is equipped with two removable filters: a micro-perforated metal filter which in turn

contains an internal fabric filter (PMF Tech) to effectively filter dust and particles in the environment.

They can be easily removed for proper cleaning under water to remove all trapped dirt.

For professional users, the manual cleaning process should be performed daily. In case of domestic

use, it can be performed weekly.

MANUAL CLEANING

1) With the hair dryer turned off and unplugged, pull the MICROPERFORATED metal filter out, gently

pulling backwards to remove it completely. Repeat the same operation to remove the fabric filter (PMF

Tech). (Fig 12)

micro-perforated metal filter will make it slide and position it correctly. Rotate it until the arrows (Fig. 14) are

perfectly aligned.

NOZZLES

The iQ2 Perfetto comes with 2 different sized

nozzles. They are designed with a double layer that

provides an air cushion, isolating the flow of hot air

from outside and preventing overheating to prevent

burns when touched. This also makes it easier to

change accessories.

In addition, the nozzles are equipped with

high-performance magnets to fix and adapt to

different positions. (Fig.17)

near bathtubs or other vessels

containing water.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1 - Make sure your hands are completely dry and the switch is

in the off position: O / OFF before connecting the appliance to

the power supply.

By plugging it in, all the lights will flash as a welcome message.

2 - To turn it on, move the on/off switch from 0 to I. (Fig.1)

3 - Regulating the airflow and desired temperature. When first

switched on, the hair dryer is set with both air flow and

temperature set at the minimum, corresponding to the first

indicator light from the bottom, next to the side buttons. (Fig.2)

Fig. 19

DIFFUSER: This accessory, thanks to its depth and design, can be used to dry curly hair and create

hairstyles. (Fig.19).

Fig. 9

Fig. 12

2) Use the included cleaning accessories to remove dust and particle buildup on the filters to remove

heavily encrusted dirt. Wash under water, rubbing carefully inside and outside and make sure that the

water flows from the inside to the outside so that the dirt comes off. (Fig.13).
If dirt persists, we recommend using a cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol, which acts as a

degreaser without leaving any residue. DO NOT USE detergents or products that are not

recommended. Dry the filter until all moisture is removed.

STYLING TIPS

The iQ has exceptional airflow and pressure, so we highly recommend a unique drying setting

when styling to ensure hair protection and optimize the performance of the hair dryer. The recom-

mended drying setting for all hair types is the 2nd temperature level, while we suggest the 1st

temperature level for fine hair.
ERROR RECOGNITION / SELF-DIAGNOSIS

The hair dryer is equipped with multiple sensors that constantly monitor usage parameters. In

case of extreme or unusual use, the hair dryer will stop its operation or not turn on in order to

protect both the user and the product itself. Any anomaly detected by the hair dryer is indicated

by a flashing light code on the handle.

Since some types of anomaly are temporary (for example, an extreme use of the hair dryer which

generates an excess in temperature), we recommend to proceed as follows:

1- Turn the switch to the off position 0.

1.1 - Make sure the filters are clean. If not, perform proper maintenance before turning the power

back on.

2- Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.

3- After a few minutes, connect the appliance to the power outlet again and turn it on.
If the fault/abnormality is temporary, the hair dryer will operate normally. If, on the other hand, the

fault recurs, contact the assistance of the store or, in case of purchase on the online shop of the

manufacturer GA.MA, the customer service of the company.
N.B.: Since IQ is equipped with a sophisticated and sensitive electronic system, a change in

electrical voltage could cause an error signal and therefore a switch off of the device. This is

functional and it is a self-protection mechanism.

ACCESSORIES

SMART PAD AND AUTOMATIC STOP

The hair dryer is equipped with a sensor that automatically

stops its operation by placing it on the mat, called SMART

PAD, (Fig.15), specially designed for this product.  Lifting it

and moving it away from it, the hair dryer returns to its

normal operation.

This new function allows to efficiently manage the time of

use.

In order to stop automatically, the hair dryer must be at a

short distance from the SMART PAD.

Avoid placing any objects near the sensor of the Smart Pad,

which may fall when using the hair dryer.

OPERATION

When you place the dryer close to the sensor of the SMART

PAD, the dryer will automatically stop and the LEDs

indicating air speed and temperature selection will start

flashing. (Fig.16)

Once the hair dryer is moved away from the sensor, it will

automatically resume operation.
N.B.:  After 5 minutes during which the hair dryer is in

automatic stop or rest mode, it will automatically shut off. To

reactivate it, turn it off and on again.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE FILTERS ARE COMPLETELY DRY AND FREE OF MOISTURE BEFORE PLACING

IN DRYER. CLEAN THEM FREQUENTLY.
3) Reposition the filters. Start with the fabric filter (PMF Tech) and then the micro-perforated metal filter. Be

careful, in both cases it is necessary to position them on the recessed guides and slide them gently without

applying pressure. If the filters are correctly positioned, the force of the magnet on the inside of the

WARNING: If the filters are inserted incorrectly, excessive pressure could damage the item and even cause

it to break.

Fig. 14

Fig. 15

Fig. 16

ACCESSORY INSERTION INSTRUCTIONS

Each nozzle has a magnetic attachment and mechanical locking. To position it, you need to

gently bring it closer to the hair dryer and the magnets will complete the positioning. Once

positioned, to lock it you will need to rotate it clockwise.

To remove it, first you will need to rotate it to unlock it and then pull to release the magnets.

CAUTION: To avoid damage, ALWAYS unlock accessories and then pull to remove them.

STAR NOZZLE: This new accessory generates an even air flow, ideal for fine or damaged hair.

Thanks to the Venturi effect, it increases the air flow and distributes it outward.

Its design prevents the airflow from damaging the hair. (Fig.18)

STAR NOZZLE AND DIFFUSER INSERTION INSTRUCTIONS:

The outer shape of the venturi nozzle and diffuser is identical to the shape of the inner base of the

air outlet of the hair dryer. For this reason, you will need to match the two parts perfectly. Push,

therefore, gently inwards without exerting too much pressure, so as to leave a small gap between

the front metal ring and the accessory. (Fig.20)

Fig. 20

Fig. 17

VENTURI EFFECT

IQ’s shape allows an easier Venturi

effect, i.e. the spreading of a higher air

flow due to the suction effect without

requiring and therefore consuming

additional energy. (Fig.22)
