4.8 R button (FLASH):

The

R

button (also called FLASH) is used to

briefly interrupt the telephone connection; this

brief interruption is used by some home or

office switchboards for call forwarding; public

switchboards use this button for telecom func-

tions, such call waiting.

4.9 Consultation:

Press the key microphone-off, to disable the mi-

crophone, in order to consult with housemates

while your calling partner on the phone cannot

listen in.

!

As soon as you release this key, the micro-

phone is enabled again.

4.10 Call timer:

The call duration is kept on the display during

the call.
