4.5 Dialing pause:
Press the pause key during the entering the
phone number to add a dialing pause (for ex-
ample, after the -0- if you call through a home
switchboard).
4.6 Call volume:
Handset volume:
Press the handset amplifier switch to enable or
disable the handset amplifier (you can only en-
able this amplifier when the handset has been
picked up and is disabled automatically when
you put down the handset).
You can adjust the volume with the rotary con-
trol under the handset.
You can set the tone with the sliding control
‘TONE’ at the right side of the phone.

The volume and tone control are only effective when the handset ampli-
fier is enabled.
