8 Operation from Smartphones or Tablets

When the SSID is changed, the mobile devices shown on the screen in step 7 are disconnected.

Connecting Mobile Devices to the Machine

For details, see the manual supplied with the mobile device.

Enable the wireless LAN function of the mobile device.

Select the SSID of the machine.

Enter the passphrase.

Disconnecting the Mobile Device From the Wi-Fi Direct Network

At the Home screen, tap > [Device].

Tap [Network Settings] > [Wi-Fi Direct] > [Paired Device].

Note



When a mobile device is connected to the machine through Wi-Fi Direct, [Paired Device] will appear.

Tap [Disconnect All].

Tap [Disconnect Now] or [Disconnect and Reset Passphrase].

When an execution confirmation message appears, tap [Yes].

Resetting the Passphrase

Note

Resetting the passphrase will disconnect the mobile device.
