3l BERNINA Stitch Regulator (BSR) foot:
What to test:
•
Attach BSR foot.
•
Press ’l’ icon (picture A) to start test.
•
Place fabric under the presser foot and move it in different directions.
•
The movements are then displayed in picture B.
•
The X- and Y-position values are displayed in mm in picture B.
Repairing note:
•
Check BSR foot sensor for dirt. Clean or replace if necessary.
•
Check BSR connector.
•
Update BSR foot.
3m Buttonhole signals A & B

What to test:
•
Attach automatic buttonhole foot no. 3A. Move slide back and forth.
•
Icon A or B lights up depending on the respective active signal.
Repairing note:
•
Check mechanical parts of buttonhole foot for ease of movement.
Replace if necessary.
•
Check buttonhole lens for dirt. Clean or replace if necessary.
•
Check sensor for dirt. Clean or replace if necessary.
•
Check the sensor connector for deformations. Replace if necessary.
•
Check the sensor cable for deformation, tears or breaks. Replace if necessary.
•
Check P-Print and S-Print connectors for deformations. Replace if necessary.
•
Check P-Print and S-Print cables for deformations, tears or breaks. Replace if necessary.
•
Check P-Print functioning. Replace if necessary.
•
Replace
