OUTPUT BLOCKS
Output blocks are new on the Axe-Fx III. To output any input signal, a preset must have at least one Output block.
Like all output meters, Output blocks are GREEN.
The Output 1 block transmits signal to the physical Output 1 jacks

and to Axe-Fx III Inputs 1+2 on a connected computer.
The Output 2 block transmits signal to the physical Output 2 jacks

and to Axe-Fx III Inputs 3+4 on a connected computer.
The Output 3 block transmits signal to the physical Output 3 jacks.
The Output 4 block transmits signal to the physical Output 4 jacks
1 The Output 1 block signal may also be transmitted through the Digital outputs if SPDIF/AES Out Source is set to Output 1, and through Output 2 if Output 2 Copy Output 1 is
turned ON and the Output 2 block is not present on the grid.

Output Mixer Parameters
Every Output block includes a six-channel mixer. The six channels correspond to the six rows of the grid. A Main
level controls the master mix. Each channel and Main also have Balance controls.
The following example demonstrates how this works. Six rows are fed into an Output 1 block, whose parameters
determine how each of these six signals are outputted.
Above, six blocks are shown in six rows, with an Output block in the next column. It does not matter which row the
Output block itself is in; the six channels of its mixer always correspond to the six rows of the column to its left.
Those rows might contain blocks, shunts, or nothing.

The Main output of the block is set to -2.2 dB. It’s Balance is dead center (0.0).

Row 1 (the Filter) will reach Output 1 at Level -6.00 dB, with Balance centered (0.0).

Row 2 (the PEQ) will reach Output 1 at Level +6.00 dB with Balance centered (0.0).

Row 3 (the Compressor) will reach Output 1 at Level +3.00 dB with Balance fully left (-100.0).

Row 4 (the Synth) will reach Output 1 at Level –2.00 dB with Balance fully right (+100.0).

Row 5 (the Delay) will reach Output 1 at Level +/-0.00 dB with Balance 50.0% left (-50.0%).

Row 6 (the Reverb) will reach Output 1 at Level +2.00 dB with Balance 34% right (-34.0).
