5.2 PROGRAMMING BY WEB INTERFACE
After the preliminary programming using the station keypad, the advanced programming can be
done using the incorporated WEB MANAGEMENT interface.
It is important not to confi gure the 6 modules using 6 different browsing cards at the same time,
as the control unit does not respond to a multiple request for web parameters.
Furthermore, two different outputs cannot be confi gured in the same module on two different
browser cards, otherwise errors will be generated. Errors also occur when the inputs are
confi gured in the same way. This problem always arises when one or more cards are opened on
the same browser where the parameters can be set; the only one that will continue to function
is the last one that was opened,
IMPORTANT: to access programming from the web interface, the control unit must be outside
the main menu (logo 3DGfl ex Fracarro shown on the display).
NOTE: the web interface could vary according to the fi rmware release installed in the
module.
Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the PC to the module using a RJ-45 CAT-5E cross lead.
2. In the 3DGfl ex control unit change the IP address, setting one that belongs to the same
subnet as the one set in the PC local network card properties.
For example:
a. Parameters set in the PC network card properties:
IP: 192.168.0.3
SUBNET MASK: 255.255.255.0
GATEWAY: 192.168.0.1
b. Parameters to set in the control unit
IP: 192.168.0.2
SUBNET MASK: 255.255.255.0
GATEWAY: 192.168.0.1
3. Start the web browser (recommended: Google Chrome, Mozilla)
4. In the address bar type in the IP address associated to the 3DGfl ex;
the following HOME PAGE opens:
NOTE: to access the web interface, the login must be authenticated just once by entering the
username and default password.
Username: admin
Password: 1234
First of all, select the language for the web interface menus (English, Italian, French and
German).
The general status of the 3DGfl ex station can be viewed.
The fi rst module to be present is always the 3DG-CU control unit (refer to the control unit
manual to set its parameters, including the network parameters), the other modules from
position 1 to 6 may or may not be present <
>.
If they are present, this screen shows the module status.
The 3DG-2S2-2T module specifi cally shows: the symbol V, if the enabled inputs have a signal
and the receiver has locked it, the symbol < > if at least one of the enabled inputs does not
have a signal and/or the receiver has not locked it.
The symbol < > is also displayed if there is a bitrate overfl ow
Against each input (SAT1, SAT2 and Input Back Panel) for the present modules, there is also
a coloured dot:
- Green if the input is enabled and the receiver has locked a signal
- Red if the input is enabled and the receiver has not locked a signal
- Grey if the input is deactivated
•
Green for normal functioning conditions
•
Red if there is a bitrate overfl ow
•
Grey if the overfl ow function is deactivated
