Converting the audio file format

You can convert an

"SDII"

file to a

"BWF"

file, or vice versa.

When converting the file format, the original file still remains.

<Note>

You cannot convert the format of a

"Tape mode"

audio file.

1. While stopped, press the [AUDIO EDIT] key repeatedly until "File Convert?" appears on the display

and press the [ENTER/YES] key.

Depending on the format of the current audio file,

"SDII to BWF

" or

"BWF to SDII"

is shown with flashing

"Sure?"

on the display.

To stop conversion, press the [EXIT/NO] key while

"Sure?"

flashes.

2. Press the [ENTER/YES] key.

The unit starts converting the file format ("SDII" to "BWF", or vice versa).
The display shows the required time for converting the file format, which is counted down while the
conversion is in progress.
When completed,

"Conv. completed!"

is shown on the display.

REMAIN

3. Press the [EXIT/NO] or [STOP] key.

The unit exits the Audio edit mode, and the display shows "ABS 0" (the beginning) of the converted audio
file.
