Connect one end of the CAT5 (or greater) Ethernet cable with PoE to the Ethernet con-
nector shown in
above.
Check AP433e LED Activity
When AP433e first connects to the controller (and any time the access point is rebooted), the
AP initializes and is then programmed by the controller. When the AP first powers up, all LEDs
are green.

After the AP433e is connected, check the status of the LEDs. The functions of the LEDs are
described below.
Be sure to connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port. The cable can mistakenly be plugged into
the Console port; if you do this, the AP won’t power up.
