5. Converting Images to AVI Format
Use the included VFCIC image conversion software to display, on the PC, camera image files
which are saved in the VFC-1000 original format (cm8), or to convert them to AVI or BMP file
format.
The VFC-1000’s VFCIC camera image conversion software has the following specifications.
Input: cm8 image files (image files in the VFC-1000’s proprietary format, which are
saved using the VFC-1000’s saving function)
AVI, BMP (display only)
Display: Still image and moving image display of input images in cm8 format, display of
image information (record time and date, image size) and trigger offset frame
numbers, playback of AVI files, and display of BMP files (can be made into
moving images)
Saving: AVI file conversion and save, or BMP file conversion and save of input cm8
format images; saving of conversion information files (part of image
information)
Settings: Display (conversion) range setting, image quality (gain, gamma, white balance,
enhancement), enlarged display ratio, and conversion codec (compression
method) for file saving
