When an error occurs while connecting to the network 

 

A)  If “Request timeout.” is displayed 

 
Check the following to make sure network cables and hub (if used) are properly connected.   
 

 

The camera’s LINK indicator should be on.   

 

When the ping command is entered, the camera’s ACT indicator should flash. 

 

The LINK indicators on the PC and hub should be on. (Some PCs and hubs may not 

have a LINK indicator.) 

 

When ping command is entered, ACT indicators on the PC and hub should flash. (Some 

PCs and hubs may not have an ACT indicator.) 

 
If the above conditions are satisfied, then there are no problems with the cable connections 
or related situations. If the above conditions are not satisfied, then there may be a problem 
with the connected cables, the hub, or with the network settings.
