Introduction
FOMA card secret codes
The FOMA card has two secret codes, known as "PIN code" and "PIN2 code".
z
PIN code
A secret code (4 to 8 digits) used to prevent unauthorized use of your FOMA terminal by
others, which is entered each time the FOMA terminal is turned ON. Entering the PIN code
lets you make or receive calls and perform communication function operations.
Set the PIN code collation "
無し
(
No)" for dialup connection (videophone). If it is set "
有り
(Yes)", dialup connection is not available.

PIN2 code
This terminal has no functions that support the PIN2 code.
Changing PIN codes
The PIN code is set to "0000" at the subscribed to the FOMA. You can change this setting. If
you enter the PIN code incorrectly 3 times in a row, the PIN code blocks automatically, so be
sure to keep a separate note of the number you set.
When using current FOMA card to a FOMA terminal you newly purchased, the PIN code
should be same ones that you set previously. If no changes have been made to PIN code, your
codes are "0000".
PUK (PIN unblock code)
The PUK is the number used to unblock the PIN code. It is given to you at the subscribed to
the FOMA. Entering the PUK (8 digits) unblocks the PIN code.
If you enter the PUK incorrectly 10 times in a row, it blocks automatically, so be sure to keep a
separate note of the number. Contact our sales outlet if you forget your PUK or cannot unblock
the PIN.
