Services for the FOMA
Note the following when using FOMA services:

FOMA charges
When using FOMA, the communication charge applies based on the data amount or
communication time in addition to the monthly charge.

Packet communication (data amount-based charge)
This communication mode applies charges based on the amount of data sent and received.
There is not communication charge if no data is sent or received even while still connect to the
FOMA network. You can therefore send or receive data as needed while remaining.

Note that the communication charges can rapidly build up if you transfer large amount of
data such as images.

64K data communication (communication time-based charge)
This communication mode applies charges based on the time you connect to the network.
Digital communication charges apply in this case.

Voice communication (communication time-based charge)
This communication mode applies charges based on the time you connect to the network.

Videophone communication (communication time-based charge)
This communication mode applies charges based on the time you connect to the network.
Digital communication charges apply in this case.

Internet service provider usage charges
When using the Internet communication services, you must pay usage charges to your Internet
service provider. These charges are paid directly to the Internet service provider, separately
from the FOMA service charges. For details on Internet service provider usage charges,
contact your Internet service provider.
DoCoMo Internet connection service "mopera" allows you to access the Internet without
monthly fee, without subscribing to the service.

Dialup connection ( Internet service provider, etc.) settings
Dialup connection differs between packet communication and 64K data communication. Based
on the communication mode you want to use, set an appropriate dialup connection for an
Internet service provider supporting FOMA packet communication, or a dialup connection
supporting FOMA 64K data communication or ISDN synchronized 64kbps.
* Connection to DoPa access points is not available.
* Connection to 64K/32K PHS data communication access points, such as PIAFS, is not
available.
