2 Installing the communication configuration file
Installing the communication configuration file causes the following drivers to be installed.
*1: This port is for the F2402 Utility to control communications.
COMx represents the port number for your PC.

• If the "FOMA F2402" modem is detected under a number greater than COM20 (

P. 158) ,
APN information cannot be obtained or written by the FOMA PC configuration software. In
this case, change the COM port or communicate referring to

than the FOMA PC configuration software" in P. 68
Uninstalling the communication configuration file
This section describes the procedure for uninstalling the communication configuration file.

When uninstalling the communication configuration file, remove the FOMA terminal from
your PC beforehand.
