5.0.3 "Scrambled" NTSC Output
If the NTSC/PAL output appears scrambled, the likely cause of the problem is the improper
connection of the Hyper-Cable. Ensure that the HyperConverter and Computer ends of the
HyperCable are plugged into the proper device.
5.0.4 "Dim" NTSC or S-Video Output
If you are using the HyperConverter with a VGA monitor and the NTSC/PAL output appears dim,
check the position of the Un-Terminate Switch (see Section 3.1.2). If a VGA monitor is used, the
Un-Terminate Switch should be "On" (Down).
5.0.5 "Bright" NTSC or S-Video Output
If you are using the HyperConverter WITHOUT a VGA monitor and the NTSC/PAL output appears
overly bright, check the position of the Un-Terminate Switch (see Section 3.1.2). If a VGA monitor is
not used, the Un-Terminate Switch should be "Off" (Up).
5.0.6 Excessive Flicker
If the NTSC/PAL output flickers excessively, the Sharpness switch may be in the incorrect position.
See section 3.1.4 to correctly set this switch.
Some Residual Flicker is to be expected in NTSC/PAL video equipment. This is due to the interlaced
nature of the NTSC and PAL video signals and is unavoidable.
