Set AC Voltage Output

Below are explanations of three other functions used with the Single Output ACV function.
Enter a DC Offset
The dc offset (
Offset
on the lower section of the ACV screen) is for ranges
≤
120 V, and for frequencies
between 45 Hz and 100 kHz. Selecting a non-zero offset changes the range limits, based on the
selected waveform. The offset mode range limits are always lower than the limits for non-offset mode.
See the specifications for details on these range limits and accuracy specifications in offset mode. If
you use an offset voltage and you cause the output to move into a range where offset is not allowed,
the Calibrator goes into Standby mode and the offset function is disabled.
To enter a dc voltage offset:
1. Tap a digit in the Offset field.
2. Enter the offset with the numeric keypad and decimal point key or rotate the knob to slew to the
desired offset. For example, 0.123 V.
3. Push the
E
key to enter the offset. The screen shows the offset.
